SitusAMC Cyber Breach Puts Major Banks’ Data Under Review
A cyberattack on real estate tech vendor SitusAMC has compromised client files tied to JPMorgan Chase, Citi, and Morgan Stanley. The breach, discovered on November 12, exposed accounting and legal documents but did not involve encrypted malware. Systems have since resumed normal operations.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is monitoring the situation, confirming no disruption to daily banking services. Neither the affected banks nor SitusAMC have publicly detailed the extent of the data exposure. Legal authorities have been notified as the vendor continues its internal review.
